From scientific perspective, there are many interesting problems. My perspective is that the ultimate question is related to the universe, the one we live in. More specifically, to me, it is not about what is in this universe, it is about can someone tell me what is outside this universe. I am not sure astrophysics can bring satisfactory answers to this, but it is probably the only way. Personally, I also like biology, but it is only as a means to the end (above). It will not answer fundamental questions, but will buy us time.
